Week of April 11 - April 15

Monday, April 11
Today we learned how to add integers with different signs by using integer chips.  (No, you cannot eat them.) Home practice for Barracudas and Sharks;  Piranhas we started our math game centers.  I think the kids really enjoyed them and we will finish out this week and the two days next week with these games.  Stingrays and Piranhas - No home practice .  Lit Block - No home practice
Tuesday, April 12
We worked on our projects today in class.  It looks like we will have to spend one more day in class working on them.  The projects will be due on Thursday, April 14th.  Lit Block - Finish summary from Chapter 14 - 16.  Due Wednesday.
Wednesday, April 13
We continued to work on the projects in class.  Barracudas and Sharks we will finish the projects in class on Thursday.  Stingrays, the projects are DUE Thursday at the BEGINNING of class.  Lit Block - No home practice.
Thursday, April 14
Barracudas and Sharks we worked on the projects in class; They are due FIRST thing Friday morning in class.  Stingrays, we reviewed for the test on Friday.  Barracudas, Sharks and Stingrays; their will be a test on Friday over Chapter 6.1 - 6.5 - Integer Operations.  Lit Block; No homework.
Friday, April 15
Today the Barracudas, Sharks and Stingrays took their Chapter 6.1 - 6.5 "evidence".  If they did not finish, we will finish it on Monday.  No homework for any class over the weekend.
